Ukrainian enterprises are receiving state grants for the modernization and development of production.

The state support program for the processing industry continues to provide Ukrainian enterprises with financial opportunities for development, modernization, and the restoration of production capacities. Under the "Made in Ukraine" initiative, 443.3 million UAH in grant support was disbursed to businesses between July 16 and October 20, 2026.

During this period, 163 applications were approved for grants totaling 869.2 million UAH. To date, 80 enterprises have actually received funding. This includes 27 enterprises located in frontline regions and 9 enterprises that utilized the support to restore their production operations.

The state program offers support to businesses across several categories:

up to 8 million UAH for the establishment or expansion of processing facilities;
up to 16 million UAH for the restoration of production capacities damaged as a result of Russian aggression.
Grant funds may be used for the purchase, delivery, and commissioning of production equipment, as well as for other expenses permitted under the program's terms.

Since the program's inception in 2022, the Ministry of Economy and the State Employment Service have approved 1,895 grant applications for the processing industry and the restoration of production facilities. The total value of the approved funding amounts to nearly 9.7 billion UAH.

In late October 2026, the Government also updated the program's terms. These changes include, among other things, an alternative approach to meeting job creation requirements, expanded financing options for the restoration of enterprises, and support for manufacturers of mine-action equipment. Grant support fosters the development of Ukrainian manufacturing, the upgrading of technological equipment, job creation, and an increase in the volume of high value-added products.

Developing the processing industry is also of strategic importance for reducing reliance on the export of raw materials, expanding the range of Ukrainian goods, and strengthening the competitiveness of domestic producers in international markets.
