Latvia and Ukraine to deepen cooperation in the railway sector
Latvia will help Ukraine develop border railway infrastructure.To create an alternative transport corridor for the export of Ukrainian goods to Latvian ports, a joint project is also being implemented with the Lithuanian company LTG Infra. It involves the construction of a 1435/1520 mm bogie switching point at the Šiaštokai station on the border with Poland.
