The first float (sheet) glass plant in Ukraine is planned to be built in Kyiv region by 2028. The start of this investment project was announced by NovaSklo with the support of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and the government office UkraineInvest. The project is part of the state policy for the development of the processing industry, which envisages increasing its share in GDP to 20% in the next 10 years in accordance with OECD standards. One of the key areas of this strategy is attracting significant investments, which will contribute to the development of production, growth in capital investments and expansion of non-raw material exports. Glass production is of strategic importance for the construction and industrial sectors, playing an important role in the process of rebuilding the country.
