The share of the woodworking and furniture industries in total commodity exports is 5.7%, which indicates their significant role in international trade. Experts expressed optimism about maintaining the positive dynamics of furniture exports, noting the possibility of achieving an export volume of $1 billion this year. This indicates the competitiveness of Ukrainian furniture manufacturers in the world market and the prospects for further development of the industry. An additional impetus for the development of the industry will be the construction of a new factory for the production of cabinet furniture in Khmelnytskyi. The first production lines are scheduled to be launched in July 2025, and the enterprise will reach full capacity in September. It is expected that the company "Accord Import", which is implementing this project, will be able to enter the TOP-5 manufacturers of cabinet furniture in Europe.
