Humanity is entering a new era - the "innovation economy", where the skills of creativity, curiosity, courage, empathy and communication will become decisive. This was stated by Anish Raman, director of economic opportunities at LinkedIn, reports "Glavkom" with reference to CNBC. Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly integrating into the global economy and the sphere of work, at the same time opening the way to the formation of a new economic order. According to the LinkedIn expert, the introduction of AI is a turning point that forces us to reconsider not only the concept of work, but also the very role of a person in the professional environment. Similar to the industrial revolution, a technological breakthrough creates a new reality. "For centuries, work was based on our physical abilities - first in agriculture, then in manufacturing. Only in recent decades has it become dependent on intellectual skills," Raman notes. Today, as automation takes over physical labor and artificial intelligence takes over more and more intellectual tasks, social skills are coming to the fore, the expert emphasizes. “The era of the knowledge economy is coming to an end, giving way to a new reality that I call the innovation economy,” Raman explains. According to him, in this new world, uniquely human abilities – social and emotional intelligence – will play a key role. He emphasizes that the basis of innovation are five critical qualities: creativity, curiosity, courage, empathy and communication – the so-called “5 Cs”. They are what allow us to generate new ideas, challenge established norms, interact effectively and create something fundamentally new.
