Ukraine is seeking to integrate into the European Union, where one of the priorities is the European Green Deal, which envisages achieving climate neutrality by 2050. One of the main directions of this course is the decarbonization of the energy system, in particular, the transition to an energy sector that relies heavily on renewable energy sources.According to the Ukrainian Solar Energy Association, approximately 800–850 MW of solar power plants will be built in 2024. And last year, Ukrainian state banks approved loans for the installation of 83 MW of rooftop solar power plants with energy storage systems – a record figure for the entire time of implementation of such projects in the country.
