Banks Issue Energy Loans to Businesses for UAH 10 Billion to Install 640 MW of Capacity. Over the 10 months of implementation of the government’s energy loan program, Ukrainian businesses have received over UAH 10 billion from banks. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a government meeting on April 15.According to the Prime Minister, these funds will allow enterprises to install about 640 MW of new generating capacity. These include gas piston and cogeneration plants, wind turbines, solar panels and generators.Citizens are also actively using the program: the volume of lending to individuals is already approaching UAH 1 billion.
