“The metal structures market continues to recover after the crisis caused by the war. The positive dynamics were influenced by the growth of imports and the implementation of a number of infrastructure projects in the first half of 2024,” the UCSB report notes. At the same time, the industry faces a number of challenges: restrictions on energy supply due to shelling of energy infrastructure, a shortage of qualified labor due to mobilization and emigration of the population, as well as logistical difficulties.UCSB predicts that in 2025, consumption growth will continue due to state procurement for infrastructure, the restoration of the energy sector, as well as the construction of logistics and industrial facilities.“The existing challenges require active support from the government and international partners. This is necessary to maintain the pace of recovery of the industry and the implementation of large-scale projects to modernize the country,” the association emphasizes.
