Ukraine and Estonia have agreed to expand cooperation to strengthen the energy sustainability of both countries and Europe as a whole and exchange experience in increasing the sustainability of the energy system. This was discussed during a meeting between Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Mykola Kolisnyk and Minister of Energy and Environment of the Republic of Estonia Andres Satt.
The parties discussed the prospects for cooperation in the field of renewable energy, in particular the development of wind and solar generation. Particular attention was paid to the potential for the use of biomass.
