Ukraine in 2024 entered the top three suppliers of organic products to the EU

Ukraine ranked third among 123 countries in terms of the volume of organic products supplied to the EU in 2024, the Organic Standard Certification Body reported, citing data from the European Commission."203.9 thousand tons of organics were exported from Ukraine to the European Union countries - this is 17.4% more than in 2023! Our farmers and producers are gradually but confidently restoring their positions after a difficult period," the organization wrote on Facebook.According to the infographic, Ukrainian producers of organic products supplied 173.72 thousand tons to the EU in 2023, and in the pre-war 2021 this figure was 189.24 thousand tons. "Organic Standard" expressed confidence that organic grains, oils, berries, fruits and other products made in Ukraine are again in demand in Europe.
