Ukraine received €4.05 billion from the EU under the Ukraine Facility and ERA

On August 22, Ukraine received another tranche of €3.056 billion under the Ukraine Facility and €1 billion under the G7 Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration for Ukraine (ERA) initiative. This is the sixth tranche under the ERA and the second under the Ukraine Facility this year.This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture.The ministry recalled that the total amount of macro-financial assistance under the ERA instrument is about €45 billion of financial support, €18.1 billion of which is the EU contribution. These loans will be repaid at the expense of income from Russian sovereign assets frozen in the EU.The Ministry performs the function of the National Coordinator of the Ukraine Plan under the Ukraine Facility. Its tasks include organizing, monitoring and controlling the implementation of obligations, as well as preparing quarterly reports to the European Commission. According to preliminary calculations, in 2025 Ukraine should receive 12.5 billion euros in 2025 within the framework of the Ukraine Facility.This year, more than 6.5 billion euros have already been received into the budget within the framework of the implementation of the Ukraine Plan.As reported by UAprom, within the framework of the Ukraine Facility Ukraine will receive more than €3 billion.
