The highest grain harvest rates are traditionally demonstrated by the south: Odesa region harvested almost 3.45 million tons, threshing 1.1 million hectares.In Vinnytsia region, almost 2.4 million tons of grain were threshed from 424 thousand hectares. Kirovohrad region reports 2.2 million tons from 534 thousand hectares, and Khmelnytskyi region – 2.1 million tons were harvested from an area of 300 thousand hectares.The rapeseed harvesting campaign is also almost over, with almost 3.2 million tons harvested from almost 1.3 million hectares. In addition, sunflower harvesting has begun from an area of 15.4 thousand hectares and a yield of 13.2 thousand tons, and soybeans – 10.4 thousand tons (7.3 thousand hectares).For comparison, last year, as of August 29, Ukrainian farmers threshed over 33 million tons of grain and oilseed crops. In particular, almost 21.76 million tons of wheat were threshed, 5.5 million tons of barley, and 459 thousand tons of peas.Among oilseed rape, 3.4 million tons were harvested, sunflowers - 419 thousand tons, and soybeans - 382 thousand tons.
