Customs records growth in fuel imports directly from producers

The State Customs Service records a significant growth in fuel imports directly from petroleum product producers. Business is choosing counterparties more carefully, increasingly giving preference to direct fuel producers when concluding contracts, as evidenced by an analysis of customs clearances for petroleum product imports for 9 months of 2025.Thus, the share of customs clearances for fuel under agreements concluded with direct producers is 45% of the total number of customs declarations processed. This is almost 1.6 times more than for the same period last year.This significantly reduces the number of risky operations using atypical routes and providing dubious documents on the origin of petroleum products. This means faster and higher-quality customs clearance, as well as more guarantees that fuel of proven quality and origin enters the Ukrainian market.
