Ukraine has recently taken an important step in the development of its agricultural sector by starting to export hazelnuts. This is a significant event for the Ukrainian economy, as hazelnuts are a promising and profitable direction for domestic farmers. Ukraine has all the conditions for growing this crop, and its popularity on the international market is growing. Given the favorable climatic conditions that allow hazelnuts to be grown in different regions of Ukraine, as well as new technologies in agriculture, Ukrainian producers are able to compete in terms of quality and price on the world market.
Today, hazelnuts are grown mainly in the southern and western regions of Ukraine, in particular in the Odessa, Cherkasy and Zakarpattia regions. According to experts, the area under hazelnuts in Ukraine is growing annually, and harvesting is becoming increasingly popular among farmers.
