The State Tax Service named the industries that paid the most taxes in 2025

The State Tax Service published a list of industries that are leaders in paying taxes, fees and payments to the Consolidated Budget of Ukraine for January-August 2025. The processing industry and trade paid the most taxes - 35% of the Consolidated Budget.

Among the leaders:

processing industry - 17.6%; wholesale and retail trade;

repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles - 16.7%; public administration and defense;

compulsory social insurance - 11.6% financial and insurance activities - 10%.

The greatest dynamics in payment compared to the corresponding period last year were in the following industries:

processing industry - +32.3% (+59.9 billion UAH);

wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles – +29.2% (+52.8 billion UAH);

public administration and defense; compulsory social insurance – +29.1% (+36.5 billion UAH);

supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning – +33.1% (+20.9 billion UAH).

It should be noted that according to the results of the seven months of this year, large taxpayers included in the relevant register transferred UAH 584.9 billion to the consolidated budget of Ukraine. The contribution of the largest companies amounted to 49% of the country's total tax revenues for this period.
