Ukraine increased trade in dairy products

The volume of foreign trade in dairy products in the first half of March-2026 amounted to $24.7 million, increasing by +4.1% compared to the first half of February-2026. This was reported by the expert and analytical service of the Union of Dairy Enterprises of Ukraine.
Export volumes increased by 3.2% compared to February-2026 and +70% compared to January-2026. Import volumes: +4.7% compared to February-2026, +93% compared to January-2026.
Export / import: 0.74 times (in February-0.75; all-time-0.84 times). Balance $(-3.7) million.
Export: condensed milk and cream +25%; whey +11%; butter/milk fats + 4%, cheeses of all types -10%.
Imports: non-condensed milk and cream + 1.3 times; fermented milk products + 9%; butter/milk fats decreased by 2 times (0.1 thousand tons); cheeses of all types + 12%.
