Ukraine unblocks sale of sanctioned assets

The Government of Ukraine has adopted a resolution that allows for a faster and more efficient launch of the sale of assets seized by the state by court decision.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture.
For investors, this means:
transparent electronic auctions;
the possibility of purchasing assets with a flexible pricing mechanism;
a new Procedure for the sale of sanctioned assets, adapted to complex objects;
equal access and competitive conditions for Ukrainian and international participants.
The ministry noted that sanctioned assets will no longer “hang” in uncertainty. Thanks to the new rules, they enter the market, receive an investor, new management and begin to work for the benefit of the state - creating jobs, paying taxes and generating economic value.
All proceeds from the sale are directed to the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression - for the restoration of infrastructure, the economy and supporting citizens.
