Ukrainian defense manufacturers have entered into partnerships with companies from Denmark, Finland and Latvia for €800 million

On February 24, Ukrainian defense manufacturers signed a package of documents with partners from Denmark, Finland and Latvia. The total amount of the agreements is about 800 million euros.
The agreements cover cooperation in the production of unmanned systems and ground robotics, as well as preparation for scaling products on the European market. Some of the documents record the initial level of interaction, others define the framework for further steps and plans for production programs.
As noted, the key goal of these partnerships is to quickly increase the production of solutions needed by Ukraine and integrate Ukrainian technologies into the EU industrial chains, taking into account the requirements and standards of partner countries.
Thus, the agreements were signed by:
Culver Aerospace (Ukraine) and Copenhagen Global A/S (Denmark). This is a production cooperation in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles within the framework of a five-year program. The partnership focuses on two classes of products: long-range strike unmanned systems (up to 2,500 km) and medium-range strike systems (up to 400 km).
TENCORE (Ukraine) and INSTA (Finland). The companies agreed on cooperation on the TerMIT ground robotic platform and the production of ground robots for Ukraine.
Remtecnology (Ukraine) and New Paakkola Oy (Finland). The companies agreed on cooperation on the production of the LEGIT tactical multi-purpose ground robotic platform. Currently, the track is at the stage of creating a joint venture in Finland and moving to scaling and commercializing this development. The nearest plans are to produce 1,500 units for the needs of the Ukrainian army with a further increase in the number in the coming years.
Terminal Autonomy Ukraine (Ukraine) and SIA Baltic Forces (Latvia). An agreement was signed that establishes a framework for further cooperation in the field of unmanned systems (reconnaissance, medium-range strike systems, long-range strike systems) and missile solutions, including cruise missiles and air defense systems. This is currently a preliminary stage without binding commercial or technical conditions.
The partnerships are concluded under the Build with Ukraine model, which involves the creation of production lines in partner countries; export of production technologies and integration of Ukrainian experience into the supply chains of allies; joint projects (in the format of co-production or JV) with Ukrainian companies.
