In Ukraine, entrepreneurs involved in the production of fruit and berry and grape still wines or honey drinks can receive grants through the “Own Business” program. These grants range from 50 to 250 thousand UAH and are available to both existing entrepreneurs and beginners. However, if the grant exceeds 75 thousand UAH, it is necessary to create from one to two jobs, depending on the amount.This program has become very popular among Ukrainians - more than 23 thousand entrepreneurs have already taken advantage of the grants, and the state has invested 5.5 billion UAH in the development of thousands of new companies and increased production. This has also helped create more than 40 thousand new jobs.The conditions for veterans have also changed: participants in hostilities who have been registered as individual entrepreneurs for more than 12 months can receive a grant from 500 thousand UAH to 1 million UAH. However, such grants are subject to co-financing: 30% must be the entrepreneur's own funds, and 70% is covered by the state.This is an important step towards supporting small businesses, stimulating economic growth and creating new jobs.
