In 2024, agricultural trade between Ukraine and the EU reached a record $17 billion, exceeding the previous record of 2022. The main trading partners were Spain, Poland, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Romania, France, Belgium, which account for 80% of the EU's agri-food trade. Ukraine imported $4,006 million in agricultural products from the EU, spending the most on beverages, food, tobacco products, animal feed, cocoa and chocolate products. The European Union remains the main supplier of agri-food products to Ukraine, providing a diverse range of products on the domestic market.
