The Swiss Federal Council has approved a support program for Ukraine that will run until 2036 with a total budget of 5 billion Swiss francs. The assistance will be directed to three key areas. One of them is the protection of civilians, which involves financing humanitarian initiatives and security measures. Significant attention will be paid to economic recovery, in particular, supporting small and medium-sized businesses, attracting investment and modernizing the economy. A separate focus of the program is strengthening institutions, which includes the development of democracy, human rights and the rule of law.
