The Ministry of Economy has approved a new list of grant recipients within the framework of the processing industry support program. In the July wave, 16 applications for a total amount of over UAH 81.3 million were approved.About UAH 38 million will be financed by the Ministry of Economy, the rest by the State Employment Service of Ukraine.Support will be provided to enterprises that produce food products, clothing, building materials, equipment, UAVs and metalworking products.
Grants are provided on co-financing terms: funds are directed to the modernization of equipment, the launch of new lines, R&D and the production of certified Ukrainian equipment.
Since the beginning of the year, 192 applications for the amount of over UAH 955 million have already been approved. In July, a new component was added to the program - grants for the restoration of production damaged by the war.
Most projects involve standard 50/50 co-financing. For enterprises from frontline regions, printing, UAVs and businesses that have suffered damage, a preferential ratio of 80/20 applies. The application process continues continuously, in two-week waves. Documents are submitted through the "Diya" portal. Decisions are made by the Ministry of Economy and the State Employment Service. The expected funding period is 1–1.5 months from the end of the wave.
