1 million 4 thousand tons of grain cargo were transported by rail in 12 days of August, which is 3.1 times more than in July.This was discussed during an online meeting of representatives of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" with agricultural market participants on August 14, writes Rail.insider.It is noted that 923 thousand tons of this volume were exported. The lion's share (almost 94%) was transported to ports.According to the carrier, during 12 days of August, 954 thousand tons of grain were loaded on the railway network of Ukraine. Compared to the corresponding period in July, the increase is almost 3.8 times. The average daily figure was 83 thousand tons.
