During the Congress of the All-Ukrainian Agrarian Council (AAC), the head of the organization and president of the Milk Producers Association Andriy Dykun emphasized that the development of Ukraine’s dairy industry should be based on the creation of cooperatives and clusters. According to him, such associations will allow Ukrainian producers and processors to jointly attract investments, organize production more effectively, and enter global markets. In Europe, in particular in the Netherlands, the number of farms is decreasing, and milk production is decreasing, so European processors may be interested in the Ukrainian market. This opens up opportunities for Ukraine to integrate into a common system with the EU and creates the prerequisites for the arrival of large investors in the sector.Dykun emphasized that for the effective development of the industry, a five-year regional strategy is needed, which will determine key factories, raw material collection areas, and areas of joint investment. The initiative, according to him, should come from the producers themselves, because without joint efforts, the industry may lose its position in the coming years.
