A record export volume of sugar in 2024 was recorded, marking the highest level in the 28 years of market research.
In 2024, Ukraine set a sugar export record, exporting 746.3 thousand tons worth 419 million dollars.
40% of the exports were directed to the EU, and 60% to the global market, with major buyers from MENA countries and North Macedonia.
This is the highest export figure since 1997, when the National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine ("Ukrtsukor") was established.
