The State Food and Consumer Protection Service is stepping up work to expand exports of Ukrainian products to China. In 2025, a market for wild-caught peas and aquatic products has been opened for Ukraine, which creates new opportunities for the development of the agricultural and fishery sectors. Last week, the First Deputy Head of the State Food and Consumer Protection Service, Oleg Osiyan, took part in the 6th International Seminar on Bioeasy Food Safety in China.
The event served as a platform for exchanging experiences, getting acquainted with best global practices, and establishing business contacts between Ukrainian and Chinese companies. During bilateral meetings with Chinese partners, Oleg Osiyan discussed new opportunities for Ukrainian producers. It is especially important that in 2025, the Chinese market for the export of wild-caught peas and aquatic products has been opened for Ukraine, which creates prospects for the development of the agricultural and fishery sectors.
