Updated grain prices in Ukraine announced

Domestic market (Ukraine)
As of March 3, the average bid price for corn harvest was UAH 9,187.02/t (EXW with VAT). Indicative (EXW) prices for class 2 wheat were UAH 9,682.75/t, class 3 — UAH 9,686.43/t, class 4 — UAH 9,249.99/t (with VAT).
The market remains a conflict of interests: farmers are restraining sales, while buyers are trying to limit further price growth. The highest competition is observed in the soybean segment, where domestic processors are actively competing with exporters for available volumes. The stability of wheat and corn is mainly ensured by domestic demand against the background of limited activity in ports. The coming weeks will be decisive for establishing a new price balance.
Foreign Market (Chicago)
On Tuesday, March 3, soybean futures showed a strengthening, which was facilitated by positive expectations for increased purchases by China and upward dynamics in the soybean oil segment. Corn quotes also showed a slight increase, while wheat prices remained unstable, closing with mixed indicators.
