Ukraine is preparing to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Independence

On August 24, Ukraine will celebrate Independence Day, one of the country's most important public holidays. This year marks the 35th anniversary of Ukraine's declaration of independence

On August 24, 1991, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Act of Proclamation of Independence of Ukraine. This historical event was an important step on the path to the formation of the modern Ukrainian state and opened a new page in the history of our country.

On December 1, 1991, Ukrainians confirmed the independence of Ukraine in a nationwide referendum. The vast majority of citizens supported the independence of the state, testifying to the common aspiration of the Ukrainian people for freedom, democracy and their own future.

Today, Independence Day is not only a reminder of the significant events of 1991, but also a symbol of the indomitability, unity and strength of Ukrainians. This is a day when we especially feel the value of freedom, statehood and the opportunity to independently determine the future of our country.

Ukraine continues to develop, strengthen and assert itself in the world. Independence is our common value and responsibility, which each generation passes on to the next.

Congratulations on the Independence Day of Ukraine! We wish peace, prosperity, unity, strength and confidence in the bright future of our state. May Ukraine always remain free, strong and independent!
