The Ukrainian IT sector continues to strengthen its position in the global market. In the first half of 2026, Ukraine exported $3.343 billion in computer services, which is 4.1% more than in the same period last year.
Computer services remain the largest component of Ukrainian service exports, providing 41.4% of its total volume. In general, exports of telecommunications, computer and information services increased by 4.3% to $3.417 billion.
Demand for Ukrainian IT services in the United States is growing particularly noticeably. In the first half of the year, American companies purchased $1.234 billion in Ukrainian computer services, which is 8.7% more than a year earlier. The United States provided almost 37% of Ukrainian IT exports.
New directions are also growing. Exports of information services more than doubled during this period, and research and development services increased by 40.8%.
Ukrainian IT today is no longer just a separate technological industry. It is one of the key sectors that brings the country foreign exchange earnings, creates high-paying jobs and helps Ukrainian businesses compete in the global market.
Despite difficult conditions, Ukrainian technologies continue to be sold to the world - and the volume of these exports is growing.
