"Smart Tech Industry LLC" plans to raise $13 million to build a trout farming and deep processing complex.
The "Trout Valley" complex is a large investment project for the farming and deep processing of fish, which is currently being built in the Lubny district of Poltava region.
This project was included in the "Ukraine Investment Catalogue 2026", presented at the Conference on the Restoration of Ukraine in Gdansk.
The total cost of the project is $62.5 million.
Details:
- The "Trout Valley" complex is planned to be built near the village of Zasullya, Lubny district. It will consist of five production modules with a total capacity of up to 2,500 tons of products per year.
- The enterprise will produce trout fillets, cleaned and portioned fish, as well as value-added products. In addition, the complex will provide fish processing and packaging services for corporate clients.
- The project is based on closed water supply technology (RAS), provides for the automation of production and the use of Danish engineering solutions.
- The main sales markets are Ukrainian retail chains, hotel and restaurant establishments, as well as European Union countries.
- According to the investment catalog, the project is already ready for implementation. Design has been completed, the necessary permits and expertise have been obtained, and construction of engineering and transport infrastructure has begun, including gas, water and electricity supply networks.
- The complex is being implemented on the territory of the "Smart Tech Industry" industrial park, which makes it possible to take advantage of state tax and customs incentives. The estimated project implementation period is three years, and the declared payback period is 2.5 years.
In March 2024, the Cabinet of Ministers included the "Smart Tech Industry" industrial park in the Lubny district of Poltava region in the Register of Industrial Parks.
"Smart Tech Industry LLC" was founded in 2016, the main direction of the company's activity is the creation and development of the "Smart Tech Industry" industrial park and the implementation of industrial projects on its territory.
As reported, the program for the development of industrial parks in Ukraine is gaining momentum: at the beginning of 2026, 37 factories were operating in the country, and the volume of attracted investments increased by 48.1% compared to the beginning of 2024 - to UAH 45 billion.
