JSC "Ukrnafta" has implemented its own software - WellWorkoverSupervisor - to control the overhaul of wells. The program automates calculations for work at great depths, and also generates graphs and PDF reports.
This was reported by the press service of "Ukrnafta".
"The use of WellWorkoverSupervisor has already allowed us to reduce the time for preparing work plans, minimize the risk of errors in calculations and increase the level of production safety" - said the chairman of the board of the company Bohdan Kukura.
Prerequisites for the creation of the software
The company "Ukrnafta" is developing internal engineering developments to increase the efficiency of overhaul of wells (WW). The goal of the initiative is to reduce the time of work execution, control costs and achieve technological independence from external contractors.
Well overhaul involves working with equipment at a depth of several thousand meters, which requires engineering calculations and compliance with safety measures.
Previously, the company did not have a single standardized software tool for such tasks. Some calculations were performed manually or using outdated software.
WellWorkoverSupervisor Functionality
In terms of its functionality, the software complex corresponds to expensive foreign analogues. The software includes more than 30 specialized modules. In terms of its functions, the system corresponds to foreign analogues and allows you to:
- automate technological calculations;
- build graphs and engineering diagrams;
- generate PDF reports;
- use the built-in directory of pipes, threaded connections and equipment.
