Ukrainian manufacturers strengthen their positions in the veterinary drug market

Since the beginning of 2025, 183 veterinary drugs have been registered in Ukraine, of which 109 were produced by Ukrainian companies. This accounts for 59% of the total number of new registrations and indicates the active development of the national pharmaceutical industry and its growing role in meeting the needs of livestock farming. AgroReview reports.The State Pharmacological Commission of Veterinary Medicine makes a significant contribution to the formation of a high-quality and safe market for veterinary drugs.
The State Service for Food and Consumer Protection of Ukraine is recommended to register 24 new veterinary drugs, re-register 32 drugs and make changes to the registration dossiers of 12 more drugs. Regular updating and expansion of the range allows maintaining the stability of the veterinary drugs market and contributes to the development of the livestock industry.The systematic work of the State Pharmacological Commission and high requirements for expertise form a transparent and reliable market for veterinary pharmaceuticals. Ukraine continues to strengthen its position in the field of national production, while increasing the sustainability of livestock production due to the availability of modern and safe veterinary drugs.
