The Export Credit Agency of Ukraine (ECA) supported the export of Ukrainian goods by UAH 8.69 billion in seven months of 2026. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy and Environment of Ukraine. 52 transactions were insured for 38 exporters during this period. Each hryvnia of guarantees from the ECA attracted UAH 11.82 of export supplies. Leading regions by export volumes The largest volume of supported supplies was provided by enterprises of the Khmelnytskyi region - UAH 4.61 billion.

 

The list of the most active regions also included: Kyiv - UAH 929.05 million; Zhytomyr region - UAH 591.59 million. Main sales markets In January-July, insured Ukrainian goods were supplied to 28 countries of the world. The largest importers were: Germany – UAH 1.22 billion; Sweden – UAH 985.01 million; United Arab Emirates (UAE) – UAH 879.26 million; Netherlands – UAH 730.66 million; Poland – UAH 704.32 million.

Key industries The largest share of supported exports was formed by the furniture industry – UAH 4.61 billion. Other leading industries include: milk processing, butter and cheese production – UAH 879.26 million; wholesale trade in sugar, chocolate and confectionery – UAH 591.59 million; auxiliary activities in the field of transport – UAH 501.88 million; production of oil and animal fats – UAH 474.45 million. Recall that in the first half of this year, the ECA supported the export of Ukrainian goods by UAH 7.53 billion. It was previously reported that Ukraine's exports are planned to increase to $85 billion by 2030. It was previously reported that the three leading industrial sectors of Ukraine - metallurgy, woodworking and pulp and paper - are currently demonstrating different export models.

In total, the leaders of these three industries ensured the export of goods worth UAH 224.5 billion. Recall that during January-June 2026, Ukraine imported goods worth $49.3 billion, while the volume of exports amounted to $21 billion. At the same time, according to the results of the first half of 2026, Ukrainian seaports processed 42.4 million tons of cargo, which exceeds the figures of last year.
