The Opendatabota 2026 Index showed revenue growth for the largest companies, but not all managed to increase profits.
The combined revenue of the ten largest companies in the wholesale trade sector in 2025 reached UAH 697.27 billion, which is 23% higher than the previous year. The new rating includes representatives of the fuel, tobacco, pharmaceutical, metallurgical, and food markets. At the same time, the minimum threshold for entering the top ten has increased to almost UAH 43 billion in revenue.
The largest number of companies in the rating were companies related to fuel sales - three participants at once. Two more positions were taken by enterprises in the tobacco industry, pharmaceuticals, and metallurgy. The food sector is represented by only one company.
The leader for the second year in a row is DL Solution, which operates in the tobacco products segment. Over the year, its revenue increased by 30% and reached UAH 114.07 billion. The company's profit increased 7.6 times - over UAH 811 million.
A newcomer to the rating, Donpromtrans, part of Rinat Akhmetov's SCM group, unexpectedly rose to second place. As a result, its revenue increased 9.5 times - to UAH 98.1 billion, and profit increased 16 times and amounted to UAH 1.43 billion. This was the most rapid growth among all participants in the rating.
Okko-Express, which previously held second place, this time dropped to third place. Despite an increase in revenue by 14% - to UAH 85.15 billion, the company's profit decreased by almost a third and amounted to UAH 428 million.
The pharmaceutical company "BaDM" held fourth place for the third year in a row. Its revenue increased by 6% - to 72.21 billion UAH, but the company ended the year with a loss of 2.75 billion UAH. For comparison, in 2024 the company recorded a profit of over 4.56 billion UAH.
Another representative of the pharmaceutical market - "Optima-Pharm" - moved from third to fifth place. The company's revenue increased by only 2% and amounted to 70.94 billion UAH, and profit decreased more than twice - to 1.67 billion UAH. Despite this, it was "Optima-Pharm" that became the most profitable company in the rating.
The company "Philip Morris" dropped to sixth place. Its revenue increased by 19% - to 61.77 billion UAH, and profit doubled and exceeded 611 million UAH.
